About Me
I am a Mathematics PhD Student at Dalhousie University, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I will be working with Dr. Alan Coley and Dr. Theodore Kolokolnikov on cosmology and gravity (that is, General Relativity; Einstein’s theory) with dynamical systems and asymptotic techniques.
I completed Honours BMath in Mathematical Physics, Joint Pure Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in 2015, and the MSc in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford in 2017, where I attended Merton College.
In 2020 I was a Professor at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario; in the the Winter and Fall terms I taught Math 1143 - Fundamental Math for Business.
“Philosophy is written in this grand book — I mean the universe — which stands continually open to our gaze, but it cannot be understood unless one first learns to comprehend the language in which it is written. It is written in the language of mathematics, and its characters are triangles, circles, and other geometric figures, without which it is humanly impossible to understand a single word of it; without these, one is wandering about in a dark labyrinth”
— Galileo Galilei
